Drayton Manor is home to some of the biggest, wettest and scariest rides in the UK.
New for 2008 – Europe’s first and only Thomas Land™.
Set within three acres of the existing theme park and based on the popular Thomas & Friends™ books and characters, Thomas Land features 12 themed rides, including Cranky’s Drop Tower, Harold’s Heli-Tours, Terence’s Driving School and the Troublesome Trucks Runaway Coaster.
Central to Thomas Land is Knapford Station from where a special Thomas the Tank Engine train ride takes visitors on an enchanting journey around the attraction. There’s also a wonderful indoor play arena, café, an outdoor play area, as well a huge shop.
The theme park
For thrill-seekers, there are a host of other rides at Drayton Manor Theme Park, such as The Bounty, a beautifully themed boat ride that swings back and forth, high above the park’s lake, and the incredible G-Force, which is a ride that rollercoaster fans have never experienced before. Meanwhile, Drunken Barrels whirls riders into a dizzy, giddy peak as they are transported in one of 12 gyrating barrels.
Also, Maelstrom is the only gyro-swing to make you face outwards, Apocalypse is the world’s first stand-up tower drop, while Pandemonium turns your world upside down. Shockwave is Europe’s only stand-up rollercoaster and Stormforce 10 is one of the best water rides around.
Drayton Manor Zoo
This first class zoo exemplifies conservation and is home to more than 100 different animal species from around the world, including big cats, monkeys, reptiles and birds of prey. 1219836043
Live shows

The Voyage to the Rainbow’s End has returned to the Big Top Theatre with its blend of swashbuckling action, comedy and music.
Throughout 2008, The Cosmic Catz will take over the theme park’s Television Theatre. The Catz are a sensational girl band, who work undercover for superhero Cryton Storm, to defeat the evil Toxica in her bid to steal the earth’s energy. 1219836103
Drayton Manor Theme Park’s major summer spectacular will be the Crusade to the Lost Temple, which tells the story of ancient secrets that could destroy the earth if they fall into the wrong hands. The 45-minute show will be an explosive extravaganza, featuring speciality acts from around the world.
