Skiloop “ The easy way to carry skis and poles”

Skiloop was invented by Paul Toleman, a UK Optometrist, after spending several family skiing holidays struggling to carry numerous pairs of skis, balancing them on both shoulders and then having to bend down to pick up a child's glove or pole! This may sound very familiar to many of you! There had to be a simpler way.

Skis are heavy and after several trials he decided that he could use their weight to help keep them vertically suspended from his shoulder using one single point of attachment and a simple adjustable shoulder strap.

The loop for the point of attachment is manufactured from nylon coated steel cable – durable but also lightweight and 'springy' enough to fold into a pocket and spring back ready to use. After trials in the French Alps, the company Skiloop Ltd was founded in 2002 and since then over 20,000 have been sold world wide with no returns.

Skiloop has been featured on BBC Best Inventions and sold at UK ski snow shows, in small and large stores Uk Stores, through Italian mail order companies, through ski schools, on UK holiday flights, through skiwear rental companies, everyone has been satisfied and no-one can believe how simple it is.

GOOD GEAR GUIDE Jonathan Futrell

"this is possibly the cheapest and most practical gift you could give
any skier. The skiloop is a simple device for carrying skis over
your shoulder and leaving you hands free".
