Head to Our Dynamic Earth For The Best Goody Bags In Town This Summer

Our Dynamic Earth, Edinburgh’s leading visitor attraction dedicated to the story of Planet Earth, is giving away 3000 unique goody bags this summer. The limited edition ‘Earth Hero Toolkit’ is supported by the Scottish Government and filled with the essentials to get young superheroes started on a mission to preserve our life on the planet. Containing a superhero T-shirt, 16 pages of activities, transfer tattoos, sticker sheet and a climate change poster all wrapped up in a superhero ‘bag for life’, the Earth Hero Toolkits are designed to be a fun way to bring home important messages about science and Planet Earth.

Catriona Cardie, marketing director of Our Dynamic Earth, said: “The Earth Hero Toolkits are designed to involve all the family in a fun and interactive way. We are hoping recipients will use them to chat about what they learnt on their visit to Dynamic Earth and that they will inspire further exploration and dialogue at home. Importantly we hope that we can encourage our new Earth Heroes to take small steps in every day life to make changes to help the planet.”

The Earth Hero Toolkits are a strictly limited edition and they will be given to the first 3000 voucher holders when they buy tickets for a tour of Our Dynamic Earth. Vouchers can be found on the website at www.dynamicearth.co.uk and in promotional leaflets around Edinburgh. Earth Hero Toolkits will also be given to visitors upgrading to an annual Explorer Pass, which gives unlimited access for the family to Our Dynamic Earth for a year.

The Earth Hero Toolkits are part of Our Dynamic Earth’s summer of fun which includes two energetic shows in a marquee outside the visitor attraction. The shows, ‘Good Vibrations’ and ‘Future Earth’, will be run in conjunction with the Edinburgh International Science Festival daily between Wednesday 16 July and Sunday 10 August. There will also be a range of dinosaur activities over the four weeks.
